PERSONALISED POP UP CHRISTMAS CARD MASTERCLASS

08th December 2021
Devonshire Pub, Balham

HANNDRAWN X BLACKPOOL SIXTH FORM

HannDrawn was asked to host a workshop at her old Sixth form in Blackpool where she studied Art 10 years ago. She taught a group of fashion, art and graphics students how to doodle on windows in her style. . ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣She drew up and artwork beforehand that the art department suggested some ideas that included the colleges goals and aspirations. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣ The day started by talking to the students about how I got to where I am today, Then we worked on some clear plastic sheets to doodle on ideas relating to their current project at a-levels. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ HannDrawn doodled the outline then guided the students on the detail, pattern and even her calligraphy.

⁣⁣⁣⁣It was such an inspirational day and I left feeling so proud of not only just what we have achieved together in that day but myself as an artist. I always find it hard to call myself an artist as I feel it’s quite a bold title but after being back where I studied I felt overwhelmed with how far I have come. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣I really hope this could be a new chapter as I would love to do more of these workshops and teaching students how to doodle their ideas in schools more. Watch how her day went below.
